Ormax recently announced a list of India’s most popular social media influencers, featuring famous names like Bhuvan Bam, Samay Raina, CarryMinati, MrBeast, and more.
Social media has become a space for people to spend time, escape from reality, and find entertainment and information. For many, it has also become a profession. India has seen a significant rise in influencer communities across platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, with individuals from fields as diverse as fitness, comedy, and beauty gaining traction. Recently, a list of India’s most popular social media influencers was released, featuring famous names like Bhuvan Bam, Samay Raina, Ajay Nagar aka Carryminati, and global sensation Mr. Beast. Included. In a country of over 1 billion people, these influencers have managed to stand out in the digital world.
According to Ormax’s list of India’s most popular social media influencers, CarryMinati has secured the top spot, followed by MrBeast (aka James Donaldson) at the second position. The 3rd, 4th and 5th positions are occupied by Bhuvan Bam, Dhruv Rashi and Sandeep Maheshwari respectively. Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, is ranked 6th while Samay Raina and Ankit Avasthi occupy the 7th and 8th positions. Pearl Mani secured the 9th position and Harsha Sai secured the 10th position.
For the second year in a row, Bhuvan Bam, CarryMinati, MrBeast and Sandeep Maheshwari have made it to Ormax’s list of most popular social media influencers. Their presence shows that their content continues to be popular with many people. Last year’s list also included famous names like Ashish Chanchlani, Harsh Beniwal, Jannat Zubair, Technical Guruji, Flying Beast and Round2Hell.
Interestingly, Bhuvan hasn’t posted much on his YouTube channel BB Ki Vines for nearly a year now as he is focusing on OTT projects, but his popularity remains strong. Meanwhile, CarryMinati and MrBeast made headlines this year with their collaboration. Ranveer Alabadia, who started out as a fitness influencer, has been attracting attention for his podcasts, which feature unique guests.
Ormax’s research, on the other hand, is based on monthly surveys of more than 1,000 people ages 15 and older. Each participant will be asked to name up to three social media platforms they use and up to two influencers they follow on each platform. This means each person mentions up to 6 influencers in total.
