The 9th Annual Youth Entertainment Showcase by Xpreesha Outreach will be held Dec. 13 at the Killeen Arts and Activities Center in downtown Killeen.
This production is the culmination of many hours of work by dancers, singers, musicians and actors, all talented young artists. The showcase begins at 7pm and doors open at 6:30pm. Killeen Arts and Activities Center is located at 801 N. 4th Street;
According to organizers, most of the proceeds will be donated to the Xpreesha Outreach 2025 Scholarship Fund. Additionally, proceeds support the nonprofit’s efforts to enrich the lives of children in our community.
Families are sure to enjoy this fun, energetic and colorful event, which includes spectacular performances, door prizes and ‘special appearances’ from esteemed guests.
The Youth Entertainment Showcase aims to provide a platform for young artists to express their talents and share their great abilities with a wider audience. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for top honors.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. All participants will receive a token of appreciation for their efforts.

The showcase is Xpreesha Outreach’s primary fundraiser and has seen many successes throughout its nine years of operation.
The 2024 High School Scholarship Fund recipient was Lawrence Taylor. He met all of the scholarship application requirements, and thanks to the community and past sponsors such as Urban Power Connection who matched the scholarship amount, Xpreesha Outreach was able to make this happen. Taylor’s scholarship will go toward his college education at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Contributions from local businesses, corporations, and donors have generously supported this event over the years.
Organizers say their donations help give back to talented participants and foster a stronger community. Xpreesha Outreach aims to continuously support and encourage the growth of young people, local events and organizations. Plans are already underway for a high school scholarship fund and will be issued again in 2025.
