In fact, it’s rare that a week goes by without a Netflix original coming back for a new season, but it can be hard to keep track of everything. We try to cover new Netflix releases every week, and today we’re also taking a deep dive into the shows that are returning.
This is a relatively quiet week overall, but there is one big addition this week as the long-running animated series The Dragon Prince concludes with its seventh season. The Netflix drama, created by the lead writer of Avatar: The Last Airbender, has garnered critical acclaim and built a cult following over the past six years.

The Manny: Season 2 (December 18)
Jimena, a single mother of three, finally finds a nanny to care for her children in the first season of Manny. She never thought her partner would be a cowboy, much less that she would fall in love with him. Will the two who had a falling out in season 1 reconcile in season 2?
Dragon Prince: Season 7 (December 19)

Virgin River: Season 6 (December 19)
Virgin River, another series that has been running for six seasons, returns this week with more small town drama and whirlwind romance. Season 6 revolves around Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) wedding. Say yes to what dress fans should be eating this season. This season starts in a few months, so be sure to tune in for the season 5 Christmas special.
