Apparently Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Turning Red, Inside Head, and Monsters, Inc. are all connected.
Disney adults are scary in every sense of the word, so you can’t blame them for not believing a word that comes out of their mouths.
However, Disney fans previously discovered a Pixar theory that essentially explains how some characters in Disney movies are linked. And one viewer shared this theory about Andy’s mother in Toy Story that is actually quite convincing.
The Toy Story series is an old favorite, and a character named Ashley discovers that Andy’s mother was actually from another popular Pixar movie. The evidence is too good to ignore.
Not only that, she discovered that there were major connections between Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Turning Red, Inside Head, and Monsters, Inc., and that they all seemed to belong to the same world. has been proven.
Ashley posted a video on Instagram explaining how it took her 24 years to realize that Toy Story’s Riley from Inside Head was actually Andy’s mother.
Ashley posted a video of the evidence, sharing a clip of Riley and Andy’s mother with the same characteristics. Some Disney characters look alike, both have blonde hair and blue eyes, and even their bone structures are eerily similar.

If you’re still not convinced, you might find it strange to know that the theory also applies to the characters’ storylines. Ashley shows a scene from Inside Head where Joy pulls a little ball of happy memories from Riley. The scene depicts him sliding down a slide as a toddler.

Ashley compared the Toy Story playground and revealed it was the exact same slide set.
Even if that’s not enough evidence to convince you that the Pixar movie is relevant, the crossover between Monsters, Inc. and Inside Head is too big to ignore.
Ashley spots Boo from Monsters, Inc. in a blurry poster of Inside Head on Riley’s wall, which is a reference to the boy band Turning Red. Seems to be in line with the group.
We also find a character in Turning Red who may be an older version of Boo due to his similar features and purple costume.
Ashley also mentioned a scene in Toy Story where one of the children at the nursery resembles Boo.

This hidden theory surprised many people and many were shocked that they did not realize it themselves. “No way is that crazy,” one person commented on Ashley’s video.
Another looked incredulous and wrote: “What?”
However, some suggested that the similarities were simply Disney taking shortcuts or reusing animation to save time.
One person commented, “Or, listen…did Disney want to take a shortcut and reuse the assets?”
Even if the facial resemblance was just a time-saving strategy, perhaps the adults at Disney may be on to something here for once. The poster and slide set is pretty solid evidence that the Pixar films are linked and that the characters exist in the same world.
