Prime Minister Narendra Modi recorded his first podcast and released it on Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s YouTube channel ‘People By WTF’. In a candid conversation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared personal anecdotes, discussed challenges of public life and also answered questions from children.
One of the highlights of the podcast was when PM Modi recalled how children often ask him what it’s like to see him on TV. Some ask how he deals with constant criticism.

In response, the Prime Minister shared a humorous anecdote from Ahmedabad. A scooter rider remained calm despite repeated abuse after nearly colliding with someone. When asked about his calm demeanor, Ryder replied, “He’s just yelling abuse at me, he’s not taking anything away.” Prime Minister Modi said he used the story to convey that while criticism is inevitable, what really matters is to be rooted in truth and maintain a clear conscience.

Prime Minister Modi referred to a wide range of issues in people’s lives and acknowledged that differences of opinion are common in all areas, including family, workplace and politics. He emphasized the importance of sensitivity in public service, saying that without empathy one cannot truly work for the welfare of others.
The podcast offered a glimpse into Mr. Modi’s personal reflections and his approach to dealing with criticism and public service, and resonated with a wide audience.
PM Modi: ‘I will never do anything malicious’
Prime Minister Modi said that his philosophy in life is never to do anything “wrong” with malicious intent, saying that humans, including himself, are prone to making mistakes, but there is no sacrifice in doing something with malicious intent. He added that he shouldn’t have to pay.
“When I became prime minister, I said in my speech, “I will spare no effort,” “I will do nothing for myself,” and “I am a man who makes mistakes, but I will make them.” ‘This is my philosophy in life: everyone makes mistakes, including me, and I am a human being, not a god,’ PM Modi said on the podcast. Ta.
He emphasized the importance of idealism over ideology, saying that politics cannot exist without ideology, but idealism is very necessary. The Prime Minister said that although Mahatma Gandhi and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar took different paths, their ideologies were “free”.
The prime minister said his ideology is to always keep the country first.
