The Golden Globe Awards have officially arrived, kicking off the three-month long awards season leading up to the 97th Academy Awards in March.
Mattel is currently working on the Barbie “Women of the Movies” set, which features dolls of Barbie Studio executives, directors, cinematographers, and movie stars in a collectible box. Barbie’s Woman in Film doll, released last year, is back in stock in time for the 2025 awards season.

Part of the Barbie Careers collection, which focuses on jobs and positions where women are underrepresented, the Women in the Movies set includes four unique articulated dolls with specialty accessories . The studio executive wears a blazer and skirt combination. Sunglasses on his head, cell phone in his hand. Director Barbie wears a jumpsuit and holds a viewfinder and a script.
