A strange discovery on the White House website has sparked widespread speculation and concern among social media users. On Tuesday, multiple users noted that the U.S. Constitution, traditionally posted on official government websites, appears to have disappeared just one day after President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Currently, the official page on the Constitution on the White House website causes a “404 – Page Not Found” error. This has led to increased speculation among social media users about the Trump administration’s stance on the nation’s founding legal framework.

Although the White House has not yet issued an official statement explaining the issue, the absence of the US Constitution on the website quickly gained attention on various social media platforms.
One X user posted a screenshot of the error on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Random question…but what does it mean that the U.S. Constitution has been removed from government websites?” he asked.
Another user wrote: “The Constitution section of the US government website is currently found to be a 404 error. There is little doubt that this is a coincidence and it could be changed or removed/fixed. “I expect that there will be some kind of sexual harassment,” he said, expressing concern.
The issue comes amid growing concerns about President Trump’s approach to the U.S. Constitution. Several critics, including Germany’s ambassador to the United States, Andreas Michaelis, have warned of President Trump’s intentions to challenge the nation’s founding documents. In a recent report to Berlin, Ambassador Michaelis warned that Trump’s inauguration could undermine the traditionally democratic system of checks and balances in place.
Ambassador Michaelis wrote that he expects President Trump will seek to centralize power in the executive branch at the expense of Congress and the states. He said Trump’s policies amount to “maximum concentration of power in the president” and could undermine the independence of the legislature, law enforcement and media. Michaelis also warned that President Trump’s policy of “maximum disruption” could lead to a redefinition of the US constitutional order and lead to dramatic changes in the political landscape.
President Trump plans to abolish birthright citizenship
Minutes after taking office as U.S. president, Trump signed an executive order abolishing birthright citizenship, a move critics say is unconstitutional. A coalition of Democratic-leaning states launched legal action Tuesday seeking to block Donald Trump’s plan.
The lawsuit, filed by 18 states including California and New York, comes a day after President Trump took office and quickly announced a series of executive orders expected to reform U.S. immigration.
