Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson will be appearing in Sky and Future Artist Entertainment (FAE)’s new Christmas comedy (FAE).
In production in a location in northern England, the film follows Bradley Mac (Sutherland), a Hollywood action star with a bloated ego. Worried about his career in Free Fall and his Hollywood era behind him, he hopes to head to England and reconstruct his image as a serious actor in the West End.
However, his longtime agent has other plans, sending Bradley instead to a small, snowy village where he appears in the town’s eccentric Cinderella production. As he gropes through the colorful cast and rehearsals of Oddball locals, Sutherland’s character begins to discover a new spark of beginnings in the form of nonsense choreographer Jill (Wilson).
“I’m excited to work in the UK and with director Chris Foggin,” said Sutherland, the designated survivor and 24 stars.
The script, written by Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown and Piers Ashworth, has additional material by Jake Brunger and is directed by Chris Foggin (Bank of Dave). Matt Williams and Pascal degrees at Fae will be produced. Executive producers are Julian Stuart, Laura Grange, Piers Tempest and Martin Owen. Mr. Smith is now available for sale on EFM worldwide.
Stuart, director of Sky’s original film, said: It’s pleasant, celebratory and funny, and we hope that everyone has something to enjoy. ”
The town of Tinsel will be coming to Sky Cinema this Christmas.
