Jenna Ortega finally addressed rumors of her relationship with Johnny Depp.
In an interview with BuzzFeed, when asked about the “craziest” rumors she’s heard about herself, the Wednesday actress said, “I probably left everyone alone because I was in a serious relationship with Johnny Depp.” I was hoping for that.”
“I’ve never talked about it. I never said anything like that,” Jenna said, prompting speculation as “pretty hilarious.”
“I was on set with Richard E. Grant and he came up to me and he said, ‘Oh, you and Johnny,'” the actress recalled. “I laughed because I didn’t know the person.”
On the other side, Johnny’s rep also dismissed rumors that the Pirates of the Caribbean star is in a relationship with Jenna.
“Mr. Depp has absolutely no personal or professional relationship with Miss Ortega. He has never met her or spoken to her,” a spokesperson for the 61-year-old actor said. .
“He is not involved in any projects with her, and he has no intention of doing so,” the statement continued. “He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumors intended to damage his reputation and career.”
