I can’t stop watching Beast games, but I’m completely focused on one player instead of the competition as a whole. The reason is as follows

Honestly, Beast Games is fun…but there’s one particular player I’d like to talk about.

For those unfamiliar with the show, Beast Game is a new show on Amazon Prime created and hosted by Jimmy Donaldson, also known as Mr. Beast on YouTube. He’s by far the biggest creator on the platform and is known for taking on crazy giveaways and contests that give people tons of money, so to be honest, it’s hard for someone to give him a show. It was only a matter of time.

Beast Games is still going on as part of the 2025 TV premiere schedule, but we have to talk about one contestant who’s just…interesting and a little nerve-wracking at the same time. Let’s get started.

The show itself is fun – up to a point.

Will Beast Games be one of the best shows on Amazon Prime?

No, it’s not, but at least…it’s fun up to a point.

Like many people when accessing popular platforms, I watch Mr. Beast on YouTube, and I’ll preface this by saying that whenever he uploads, I get bombarded with thumbnails. I enjoy a challenge, and of course there’s a lot in those videos that draws me in like any other normal human being.

Beast Games includes many of those elements, but has been significantly upgraded with a larger set and more money provided by Donaldson. That was how he promoted the whole show. Now that it’s premiered, it’s mostly fun to watch. The challenges are interesting and some of the contestants are unique, which I like. It reminds me of The Squid Game, one of the best shows to binge-watch on Netflix.

A daily blend of entertainment news

But…it’s also a bad thing. Because The Squid Game is a clear commentary on the state of capitalism in our world and what people do when they literally can’t afford to live when everything is so expensive. . as a debt that must be repaid.

That’s what Beast Games feels like to me. The challenge is fun, but when you actually sit down and hear why these people are competing, it certainly feels a little discouraging. Student loans, heavy debt, medical bills, former cancer patients, the list goes on and on. And it really sticks when someone is eliminated.

To really enjoy this show, you have to detach your mind from the actual aspects of reality…and maybe that’s a good thing. But there’s one player that intrigued me more than the actual game… and that’s Player 991.

Player 991 is of great interest to me and those who follow him.

Player 991, also known as Jeremy, is one of the most interesting characters on the show right now.

The best reality shows out there need to find a reason to root for these people. That’s why they tend to focus on their backstories and who they are as people to increase audience engagement online and elsewhere. Beast Games is certainly moving in that direction with Jeremy.

Don’t get me wrong. On the surface, Jeremy seems like a great guy. He’s very religious, so that’s totally fine, but he also did something amazing by not accepting a million dollars and wasting all of his time. Anyone who participates in such a game will gain followers after making such sacrifices.

But I think what’s most interesting to me is that this has given Jeremy a following in the game. So many people were willing to give up their spot in the next part of the competition for him to move on. And it feels a little…unnatural. I won’t use specific words, but if you watch the show, you’ll understand what I mean.

And Jeremy just seems to be eating it up. I mean, he’s not saying that outright, but he’s also not denying the people who are pushing him into this leadership position. I was really intrigued to get into the deeper intricacies of who he is and the people who see such goodness in him, which brings me to my next point.

Also, I hope we see more backlash against him in future episodes

I too would like to see more people fight back.

Any other reality competition show, whether it’s a cooking competition series or a survival series, requires complex relationships. In a series like Beast Games, there are so many people participating in the general matches that it’s really hard to root for the players when there are too many people.

But now, Beast Games has finally given us something in terms of focusing on a particular player and the backlash he’s receiving from a small group of people who don’t like him. Need to see more. This is the kind of story we want in a series like this. It delves deeper into why people do what they do, how they react to it, and the consequences of it.

Like I said, Jeremy seems like an okay guy and I don’t mean to criticize him, but what I’m really interested in is what his true intentions are. The people around him, and the people who don’t like him. Why don’t they like him? what is his goal? I don’t really understand. That’s what I need to see.

There are still a few episodes left in Beast Game, and I honestly believe Jeremy will be a big part of it. Maybe all my doubts will be answered. Maybe until then, I’ll just check out some of the best dating shows on Netflix or something as a palate cleanser. Either way, we have a feeling that the next few episodes are going to blow our minds.
