
Los Angeles, January 4: American network HBO has announced that its latest comedy series, The Franchise, will be canceled after just one series.
The show, starring British-Indian actor Himesh Patel, satirized Hollywood studios’ obsession with making superhero films.
The show, produced by director Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci of Veep fame, premiered on HBO in October 2024.
