Both Meta and Amazon recently pledged to donate $1 million to President Donald Trump’s Inauguration Fund. Trump also had dinner with Zuckerberg and Bezos at Mar-a-Lago. Meanwhile, Altamun personally donated $1 million to President Trump’s inaugural fund. He also donated to President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign.
“AGI will probably be developed during this presidential term, and it seems critical that we get it right,” Altman said in the report. “I think supporting the inauguration is a relatively small thing. I don’t think it’s a big decision anyway. But I think we should all wish the president well. I think so,” he said.
