Here’s an excerpt from what Prime Minister Modi said during his podcast debut:
Childhood and student days
Well, everyone knows I was born in Gujarat, in the Mesana district of North Gujarat. Vadnagar is a small town. When we were small, the population was probably 15,000, and I remember this roughly. I came from that place. But then, just as everyone has their own village, my village was also such a village. My village was a kind of Gaekad state. That’s why Gaekwad state had a specialisation. All the villages were extremely enthusiastic about education. There used to be a pond, a post office, a library, four or five. I mean, if it’s a village in Gaekwad, this is definitely there and this was their arrangement, so I studied at the primary school in Gaekwad, so I went there as a kid We stayed. There was a pond, so I learned to swim there. I was washing clothes for everyone in my family, so for this reason I had permission to go to the pond. Then there was Bhagwat Acharya Narayan Acharya High School at BNA School. It was charitable in a way, and not like the state of education today. So I went to school there. At the time, I was in 11th grade, not 10+2. I was reading somewhere that the Chinese philosopher Xuanzang lived in my village, so he was supposed to make a film, so at the time I read somewhere you’re making I was writing to my brother to the embassy or someone there, because it was a Xuanzang movie, so he lived in my village, so I tried to mention him somewhere by doing this. That was years ago.
Before that, I had a very passionate brother Dave in my village. He was a parliamentary leader, had a slightly socialist ideology, originally from Saurashtra and settled in my village. He taught the kids at school wherever they go, if they find a stone with something written or engraved, they should collect it and place it in the corner of the school. Gradually it became a large mountain, and he realized that this was a very ancient village and that every stone here had a story. Collect it and whenever someone comes, he does it. Maybe it was imagination. So my attention was also directed towards it.
I was a very ordinary student, no one noticed me, but there was a teacher named Veljibhai Chaudhary. He told my father he had so many talents, but he wasn’t focused and continued to do different things, he grasped everything very quickly, then his world I said I’d get lost. , so my teachers loved me so much, but if there was an element of competition, I would have run away from it. I wasn’t interested in it, passed the exam and went out, it was like that, but I was doing many other activities. It was my nature to immediately grasp something new.
Advice for aspiring politicians
These are two different ways, because being a politician is part of one thing and being successful in politics is another. So, one is to enter politics, and the other is to succeed. I think it takes dedication, commitment and should be a partner for people of joy and sadness. If you say I am a great warrior and I control everyone, everyone will follow me, and his politics could work, he might win the election No wonder, but there is no guarantee that he will become a successful politician. And I think in the country, I think that what I think can cause controversy. When the freedom movement began, people from every section of society joined in, but not everyone was caught up in politics. Some were dedicated to life to education, some were dedicated to kadi, some were dedicated to adult education, others were involved in such creative works for the welfare of the tribe. However, the freedom movement was a movement inspired by patriotism, and everyone had a passion to do whatever I could to free India. After independence, many of them were caught up in politics, and first after politics, all the stubborn leaders of our country were leaders who emerged from the freedom struggle. So their thoughts, maturity, their forms are completely different, and whatever we hear about their actions there is a very deep sense of commitment to society. There is a mission, not ambition. If you have a mission, you get somewhere, the mission should be beyond ambition, you have the ability.
About Mahatma Gandhi
Looking at the definition of leaders in today’s era, Mahatma Gandhi doesn’t fit that. Personally, he was thin and had little oratoric skills, so looking at it from that point of view he couldn’t become a leader. So, what was the reason? His actions once spoken, and this power made the whole country stand behind this man. That’s why the form of politicians is seen in the big category of experts, and he should be able to give a flowery speech. This will work for a few days, people will get applause, but ultimately it is an act to work. Secondly, in my opinion, communication is more important than speech or oratories. How do you communicate? Mahatma Gandhi had a stick in his hand, taller than he was, and previously advocated nonviolence, a huge contrast, but he was communicating. Mahatma Gandhi never wore a hat, but the whole world wore a Gandhi hat. He had the ability to communicate. Mahatma Gandhi had a political field, and although he was a politician, he was not a ruler. He did not challenge the election, he was not in power, but the place that was built after his death was named Raj Ghat.
About Godra’s Riot
I became an MLA for the first time in my life on February 24th, 2002. I went to Parliament for the first time on February 27th. I was an MLA for three days, and all of a sudden the news of a major incident in Godra began to come, and the train was on fire. Gradually the news came, and I was worried, so I said anything I said with a very natural restlessness. I was at home, as soon as I came out, I said I wanted to go to Godra, so we said we’d go to Baroda from here, we’ll take a helicopter from Baroda , and they said they wouldn’t do so, so I said I’d look for someone else’s helicopter, maybe the ONGC had one engine so they can’t take a VIP He refused, saying, I wasn’t a VIP. I’m a normal person, when I go, we had a big fight, whatever it is my responsibility, I go with a single engine helicopter, I do that painful scene, We reached a huge number of people. Corpse, you can imagine, I’m human too, I’ve experienced everything that happens, but I know I’m sitting on a post that I have to maintain my feelings I did. This, I had to stay above all else, and I tried to handle myself by doing everything I could. But when I talk to students at Pariksha Pe Charcha, I understand their lessons. Don’t try to wear special new clothes that day.
Raise the Tricolor flag on Lalchouk in Srinagar
This is what I mean when I rolled up the tricolor flag of Lal Chouk in Srinagar, our procession was attacked near Bhagwara in Punjab, bullets were fired, many people were killed, five or six was injured so there was tension all over. It was very difficult to raise the Tricolor flag as to what would happen if we went to Srinagar Lal Chouk. After raising the Tricolor flag, we came to Jammu. My first call from Jammu was my mother. It was a happy moment for me and the other thought was in my mind that my mother had to worry about the bullet being fired and where she was, so I made my first call I remember that. Today I understand the importance of that call.
About Technology
Today, I can send money directly to a farmer’s account for 10 krull in 30 seconds. Today, I can subsidize to a gas cylinder consumer of 13 crores in 30 seconds with just one click. why? For your Jan Dhan account. The country’s rupee leak, the corruption that once took place is gone, and it has been discovered that technology is using it. Now you’re watching the upi, it’s a wonder for the whole world around the world. When a guest from the world comes, do they ask how the upi works? I tell them to go to the vendor! India modeled how technology is democratized in front of the world of fintech. Today, if the young people in the country have a cell phone in their pocket, they don’t need anything, and when the young people in my country were in my pocket, when the young people in the country were in my pocket, when the government was in my phone You’ll remember that there was. This was a technology-driven century, and the country created separate committees for innovation. I have established another fund for innovation. Young people should take risks and they should feel that even if I fail, I don’t die of hunger and someone will take care of me.
I once went to Taiwan! My nature is the nature of my students, and I have a quality within myself, so I can say that students live within me. There I met all the leaders and I was very pleased that of all their leaders, the Minister of Transport, had a PhD in Transport from the best university in the world. I did. In other words, he was the doctoral owner of the subject, where he was the most top pastor at the university. This had a huge impact on my mind. Even in my country, I want young people who can take that country to that level. When I went to Taiwan, I had an interpreter. He was a qualified engineer and educated. So the government appointed him as an interpreter with me, and I took a 10-day tour of Taiwan. I was a guest of that government. This was also before I became prime minister, so in the last few days he asked me, if you don’t mind, I would like to ask one thing? No, I said you lived together for days, what would hurt, you should ask! No, he said you would feel sick, he kept avoiding, I wouldn’t do this brother, you have something in your mind, you should ask? So he asked me, is black magic still working in India? Do you still have snake charmers in India? The poor man had this image of India in his heart. I stayed with him for days. I was discussing technology, and yet he still had this in his mind. I thought he was a joke, I said I saw a brother, now our ancestors were playing with snakes, we couldn’t play, now we played with the mouse, and now we were playing with my country All the kids said they would play with the mouse. I said that the strength of my country lies in its mouse. Snake Chalmers India was different.
I’ll adjust it
