The first TV update for 2025 was the Letterkenny spin-off, Shorey. The series, which is available to stream on Hulu in the United States, was renewed for season 5 before season 4 premiered. Fans of workplace comedies also got some good news this month. NBC’s St. Denis Medical is set to return for a second season.
But this year also brought some early disappointments. HBO’s The Franchise was the first to be canceled in 2025, with a second season not airing. Prime Video also announced that the third season of the comedy Harlem, which premieres this month, will be the last.

San Denis Medical, NBC: Workplace comedies set in hospitals aren’t going away yet. St. Denis Medical, NBC’s No. 1 new show among 18-49 year olds this season, returns for Season 2.
