Amazon MGM Studios partners with Entertainment Industry University Outreach Program

The Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program partnered with Amazon MGM Studios to build a more equitable and inclusive talent pipeline with HBCU students and other underrepresented student groups.

This partnership will enable EICOP to continue its initiative to bring diverse perspectives to the table by hosting student leaders and university graduates for paid internships in all aspects of business starting in summer 2025.

“We are committed to building a hub of talent that fosters creativity, inclusive storytelling, and innovation on and off screen,” said Amanda Baker Lane, Global Head of DEIA for Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. “I’m here.” “Through our partnership with EICOP, we will further amplify the voices of the next generation of entertainment industry leaders.”

“Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program President and CEO Stacy Milner said: Together, we will open doors to HBCU scholars and other underrepresented talent, creating access to bring their skills, experience, and perspectives to today’s global creative industry workforce. The program allows members of the student group to interact with industry leaders, participate in speaker series and events, gain professional development opportunities, build networking skills, visit studio grounds, and attend top entertainment organizations. Go behind the scenes and expand your industry knowledge. All aspects of the entertainment industry.

EICOP’s mission is to eliminate institutional barriers by providing housing and paid internships so participants can gain valuable exposure to the entertainment industry. Each year, students spend the summer in EICOP’s Los Angeles, New York, or Atlanta-based programs, currently working with Amazon MGM Studios, Disney, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., CAA, WME, UTA, and more.

The program vetted an applicant pool of more than 400 scholars for the summer 2025 program.
