Second half (11.4 million viewers watched live and on the day of broadcast).

Earlier this month, Paramount announced that the midseason premiere of “Yellowstone,” released on Nov. 10, reached 16.4 million viewers across eight networks simulcasting the first episode, encore, and additional screenings (rebroadcasts) on CBS. reported that it was viewed by someone. What to watch out for

More about the ‘Yellowstone’ universe. The second season of the spinoff 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, will premiere on Sunday, February 23rd. Another spinoff called The Madison is currently in production with actress and executive producer Michelle Pfeiffer, who has long been rumored to be in the cast. The series focuses on the characters of Rip and Beth. The network has not confirmed the show, but the Season 5 finale made that possibility even more likely. Last year, Paramount announced two more series from producer Taylor Sheridan, “1944” and “2024.” The former will be a sequel to “1923,” while the latter will follow the ending of “Yellowstone,” but primarily introduce new locations and characters. Another spin-off, “6666,” which focuses on a ranch in West Texas, is also in the works.

Main background

Paramount Network’s first scripted drama series “Yellowstone” focuses on the Dutton family’s ranch in rural Montana. Kevin Costner played the lead role of John Dutton until the latter part of season 5, after which he left the show. The series was filmed in Montana and Utah, first aired in June 2018, and is currently streaming on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service, which acquired the rights in 2020. Most of the series’ spinoffs are produced for Paramount’s streaming service, Paramount+. The show’s viewership has steadily increased each season and it has received mixed reviews from critics, and that held true for Sunday’s series finale. Some called it a “beautifully executed” send-off, while others slammed it, calling it “the worst ever.” “Yellowstone” was nominated for several industry awards during its run, but won few awards other than Costner’s Best Actor win at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards.
