1) Sam Altman’s big predictions for 2025:
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has made a bold prediction about the future of artificial intelligence in the workforce. Altman said in a blog post that the first AI agents will “enter the workforce” in 2025 and have a significant impact on companies’ production.
“We are confident that we now know how to build AGI as we have always understood it. We believe that by 2025, the first AI agents will ‘join the workforce’ and help businesses I believe we may see significant changes in production. ” Altman wrote in a blog post.
AI agents seem to be the trend of the month, with most top companies from Google to Amazon turning to the technology that can significantly streamline their workflows. 2) OnePlus 13 series launches in India:
OnePlus has launched its flagship OnePlus 13 series in India. It has many new upgrades over last year’s model, including a new processor, larger battery, faster charging speeds, improved IP rating, and a refreshed quad-curve display.
3) Prime Minister Modi said that technology has saved “billions of rupees” lost due to corruption:
“Billions of rupees that were once lost to corruption are now being saved and technology is being used to do that,” PM Modi said on an episode of Nikhil Kamath’s WTF podcast. He also pointed out that the use of technology has enabled the government to transfer money to the accounts of 10 billion farmers and 13 billion gas subsidy beneficiaries in just 30 seconds.
4) iOS 18.3 Beta 2 has been released:
Cupertino-based Apple released iOS 18.3 public beta 2 this week, offering a glimpse of upcoming software updates.
The latest beta version introduces minor enhancements aimed at improving the user experience, including important updates to the Calculator app and several bug fixes.
5) MacBook users are at risk from Banshee malware:
A new variant of Banshee malware has been discovered, putting the online security of 100 million macOS users at risk. This new malware variant was detected by security researchers at Check Point Research, who claim that Banshee is being used to steal macOS users’ browser credentials, cryptocurrency wallets, and other sensitive data.
In a blog post discussing the seriousness of the threat posed by Banshee, Checkpoint Research said: “This stealth malware does more than just intrude. It steals browser credentials, cryptocurrency wallets, user passwords, and sensitive file data while remaining undetected and blending seamlessly with normal system processes. Banshee But what is really concerning is its ability to evade detection.”
“Even experienced IT professionals have a hard time identifying its existence. Banshee Stealer is more than just malware. “This is an important warning to take precautions,” the company added.
