Former Indian cricket team star Vinod Kambli was hospitalized over the weekend after his health deteriorated. Kambli, Sachin Tendulkar’s long-time teammate, was admitted to Thane’s Akriti Hospital late Saturday night, according to an X post by news agency IANS. The post added: “His condition is stable but remains critical.” On Monday, a fan posted a video of Kambli in which the former Indian can be seen giving a thumbs up. Recently, a video of Kambli went viral, sparking speculation about his health condition.

Over the past few weeks, much has been said and written about former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli’s health issues. Recently, Kambli attended a function at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park to honor the late Ramakant Ashurekar, who coached him and Sachin Tendulkar. Some videos went viral on social media where Kambli even struggled to conduct herself properly. However, Kambli opened up about her health problems. The 52-year-old is “getting better” but had health concerns about a month ago.
Kambli revealed that he was battling a urine infection, but his wife and children stood by him like a rock and helped him get back on his feet. He added that former India all-rounder Ajay Jadeja came to meet him.
“I am better now. My wife takes good care of me. She took me to three hospitals and said, ‘I have to get healthy.’ Ajay Jadeja too He came to visit me.It felt great.I was suffering from depression.I had urinary problems. My son Jesus Cristiano came to pick me up. My 10 year old daughter and my wife came to help me. It started spinning and I fell down. The doctor told me to get admitted to the hospital,” Kambli told Vicky Lalwani on his YouTube channel.
