United Airlines (UA) has appeared as a top customer at Boeing and received the most delivery in 2024. The analysis below delves into details of Boeing’s delivery, focusing on key operators and the most popular aircraft variants.

Top Boeing Customers in 2024

Among Boeing’s top customers in 2024 was United Airlines (UA), which received the most Boeing aircraft delivery in the 36, as reported by CH-Aviation.

This reflects United’s fleet modernization efforts and confidence in Boeing’s products. Other notable Boeing customers include Ryanair (FR), Europe’s largest low-cost carrier that delivered 31 aircraft, and Air India Express (IX), which received 27 Boeing planes.

United Airlines (UA), one of the largest airlines in the United States, received the most Boeing delivery in 2024 on its 36 aircraft.

2. Ryanair (FR)

Ryanair (FR), Europe’s largest low-cost airline, delivered 31 Boeing aircraft in 2024 as part of its fleet expansion.

3. Air India Express (IX)

Air India Express (IX), a subsidiary of Air India, supported its international business expansion after receiving 27 Boeing delivery in 2024.

4. Southwest Airlines (WN)

Southwest Airlines (WN), the leading low-cost airline in the United States, modernised and expanded its bow fleet in 2024, accepting delivery of 22 Boeing aircraft.

5. Boeing D&S

Boeing’s self-delivery division, Boeing Defense & Space (D&S), received 13 Boeing aircraft in 2024 for a variety of government and military uses.

6. Alaska Airlines (AS)

Alaska Airlines delivered 12 Boeing aircraft in 2024 as part of its (AS) fleet renewal effort.

7. China Southern Airlines (CZ)

China Southern Airlines (CZ), one of China’s largest airlines, received nine Boeing delivery in 2024.

8. Xiamen Airlines (MF)

Xiamen Airlines (MF), a subsidiary in southern China, also received nine Boeing aircraft in 2024.

9. Aeroméxico (am)

Mexican flag carrier Aeroméxico (AM) accepted eight Boeing delivery in 2024.

10. Air China (CA)

Air China (CA), the national airline of China, delivered eight Boeing aircraft in 2024.

Top variant released by Boeing in 2024

Boeing’s 737 family ruled delivery in 2024, with the 737-8 variant accounting for 195 aircraft. The 737-8-200, tailored to its high density configuration, saw 42 streams, making it the second most delivered Boeing model.

The company’s long distance offering also gained traction, with 29 units of the 787-9 Dreamliner being delivered, followed by 21 delivery of the 787-8. These models continue to be preferred for fuel efficiency and passenger comfort on international routes.

Cargo and specialized aircraft delivery included 11 units on the 777F and nine deliveries on the KC-46A, strengthening Boeing’s presence in the cargo ship and defense market.
