Singulr AI: AI governance startup Singulr AI raises $10 million from Nexus, Dell Technologies

Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance and Security Startup Singulr AI raises $10 million in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from industry executives. To expand the engineering team, enhance the platform’s capabilities and expand its efforts to get to the market, Abhijit Sharma told ET.

Founded in 2023 by Shiv Agarwal and Sharma, Singulr AI helps businesses discover, manage and protect AI use across their businesses. The company often deploys hundreds of AI services and models, many of which are redundant, but more than 75% of its employees use unapproved AI tools to help them with data. It increases the risk of exposure.

“There is a balanced act between AI deployment and security risks. We come there and continue to recognize all AI used without effort through the use of the platform. Not only is it all seamless discovery, it guarantees that it also covers all dimensions of AI activity,” Sharma said.

He added that the increase in agent AI will further increase the level of complexity, and that corporate-grade governance, which is essential to managing security risks, compliance challenges and operational costs, is essential.
