Bleacher Report will catch you with the latest news from the WWE Universe.
European dates added to China’s farewell tour
John Cena’s career in the ring will end at the end of 2025, but not before some of his European fans get the chance to see him live for the last time.
WWE announced Monday that CENA will appear in three consecutive episodes of Monday Night Raw in March. All of these take place in Europe.
Raw on March 17th is set in Brussels, Belgium. RAW on March 24th will be held in Glasgow, Scotland. The life on March 31st will be from London, England.
At last year’s Bank Premium Live event, Cena made an incredible announcement that 2025 will be his final year as an active in-ring performer.
China’s farewell tour began earlier this month when he competed in a Men’s Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble. He made it to the end, but was eliminated by winner Jey Uso.
Given that Cena previously announced his intention to become a 17-time world champion at WrestleMania 41, this would break the ties with Ric Flair for the highest record ever, he is now a different one I’m taking the route.
On March 1, Cena competes in a men’s elimination chamber match at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live event, with the winner taking on Cody Rhodes for the indisputable WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
If Cena wins that match and establishes herself as the first contender for the Rhodes title, his appearance on Raw next month will likely be a key part of the build for the match against Cody .
Anyway, WrestleMania 41 is Cena’s last Wrestlemania, and European fans will have the opportunity to prepare him next month.
Undertaker praises Punk’s behind-the-scenes attitude
CM Punk has gained a reputation for being difficult to approach and work on his first run at WWE, but the respected WWE Hall of Fame suggests things have changed significantly in that regard I’m doing it.
When he appeared on busted open radio on Monday (h/t subhojeet mukherjee on Ringside News), The Undertaker expressed his belief that punk is now much more approachable and friendly.
“Absolutely, he’s mature. He’s actually very enjoyable to be around. That’s not something you get asked much about when it comes to punks. Before he left for the first time, he was very lonely. .
“But my experience with him was completely different after he returned. He’s very personality and attractive. It’s like another man. It lifts weight from him. It seems he has. I don’t know about his personal struggle or that. It’s not my business. So it’s telling me it’s probably something that’s consistent for him.”
Punk originally signed with WWE in 2005 after becoming the top star of the independent scene, including the Ring of Honor World Championship.
After advancing to the main roster in 2006, Punk went against his expectations by becoming one of WWE’s most popular and successful superstars, despite not fitting the WWE model of the time.
Punk remained in WWE until early 2014, holding five world titles along the way, fighting against many of the company’s other top stars, including Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, Randy Orton and even Rock.
When Punk left WWE after the Royal Rumble in 2014, it was poor condition due to his dissatisfaction for many reasons, including his belief that concerns about his injuries were not taken seriously enough. It was.
Punk had been away from professional wrestling for over seven years before making his AEW debut in 2021, but his time with the company was short-lived as it was released in 2023 after multiple behind-the-scenes dust ups.
He returned to WWE in November 2023, but while some seemed to expect his old problems at the company to resurface, Punk is a model employee. There is no indication that it is.
Punk also spends a lot of time at the WWE Performance Center to support the promising talents of WWE.
Cargill is reportedly preparing to return to WWE programming
Jade Cargill hasn’t acted since November, but it looks like her return is approaching.
According to Pwinsider.com (H/T Steve Carrier of Ringside News), Cargill was at the WWE Performance Center this week.
Cargill was amortized from WWE programming just before the Survivor Series, and found himself unconscious on the hood of the car.
Multiple reports have emerged from an angle as to why Cargill was removed from television, but Fightful Select (H/T carrier) reportedly was listed on WWE’s internal injury list.
Cargill was half the WWE women’s tag team champion with Bianca Belair at the time of the injury angle, but Naomi has intervened to replace Jade.
After weeks of development on Jade, Smackdown’s general manager Nick Aldis showed Belair and Naomi’s videos from the night of the attack on last week’s episode of Smackdown.
No attacks were shown, but we were able to see Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez walking away from the scene.
Morgan and Rodriguez challenge Bella and Naomi for the RAW title next week, and it feels like the ideal place for Jade to return.
Revealing Morgan and Rodriguez as attackers is an option, but Naomi has also been revealed as an attacker to set up a WrestleMania match between her and Jade.
Regardless of who the attacker is, it seems fans don’t have to wait too long for a big reveal.
