Along the way, she gains new confidence and learns that it’s never too late to be who you want to be.

Is “Young” based on a book?
The series is based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran. In a 2015 interview with Glamor magazine, where she previously worked as a fashion editor, Redmond Satran said she came up with the book’s premise after reading an article about “extreme plastic surgery.” But, she said, “At the end of the day, my heroine is just pretending to be young.”
