Launching Wednesday, February 19th on Disney+, Pixar Animation Studios’ first original series “Win or Lose” follows eight different characters as they prepare for a big softball championship game. “I played softball from a young age,” said Carey Hobson, who co-wrote, directed and executive produced the series with Michael Yates. “Inspired by that experience, we felt that fast-pitch softball was the perfect backdrop for the show. There are so many facets to the sport that I love. The same thing. We always had different reactions and different interpretations of the meeting. One of us said, “It worked!” And the other one will say “No!” It was terrible, what are you talking about? ” We realized that our own experiences change our perception of events.
