Kanpur: Paramount Club thrashed Southern Club by a huge margin of 123 runs in the semi-final of the 1st Jaipal Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament at Rashtriya Ground on Tuesday.
The Paramount club batted first, scoring 295 runs in 35 overs. Samrad Dubey and Mohib Ansari were the main scorers, contributing 72 and 63 points respectively. The Southern club responded by scoring just 172 points.

Registration date extended: Kanpur Cricket Association has extended the registration date for Kanpur Premier League till January 24. KCA Secretary General Kaushal Kumar Singh said the registration form is available online. Cricketers have to submit the completed form along with the fee at the KCA office.
