Paatal Lok Season 2 OTT Release: Amazon Prime Video is back with the second season of the iconic ‘Paatal Lok’ after over four years. The web series is an Amazon Prime original and is said to be one of the most anticipated shows on the OTT platform.

After more than four years, Paatal Lok Season 2 is scheduled to stream on Amazon Prime Video on January 17, 2025.
Paatal Lok Season 2: Cast
The cast of Paatal Lok Season 2 includes Jaideep Ahlawat, who reprises his role as Hathiram Chaudhary, and Ishwak Singh, who returns as Imran Ansari, an IPS officer who is promoted to senior level with Hathiram.
Gul Panag will also be returning as Hathiram’s wife Renu Chaudhary. Exciting new additions to the cast include Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor and Jaanu Barua, who bring fresh dynamics to the story.
The ensemble cast also features Anurag Arora, Prashant Tamang, Merenra Imsong and LC Sekhose.
About Paatal Lok Season 2:
Paatal Lok Season 1, released on May 15, 2020, is loosely based on Tarun Tejpal’s 2010 novel. But this season, Hathiram may explore the sinister underworld and the relationship between power and corruption.
A few months ago, Prime Video wrote, “Two seemingly unrelated incidents force Hathiram and Ansari to work together again and lead them into a mysterious conspiracy.”
In a recent interview, Jaydeep Ahlawat said that Sudip Sharma has “created a new world” for the second season.
“In a series format, when the previous season is a hit, you sometimes try to capitalize on all the elements that worked well. But Sudip has left all that behind and created a new world.” he told SCREEN.
“I just hope people get it. It’s a new way of telling a story. I’m sure people will have a lot of fun watching it,” Allawat said.
