OnePlus has announced a new phone replacement plan, but it’s not available on all devices. The latest offer is only applicable to the flagship OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones. The company revealed that those who purchase any of the new devices by February 13, 2025 will be eligible for this offer. Here’s everything you need to know.
OnePlus confirmed in a press statement that in the unlikely event that your new OnePlus 13 or OnePlus 13R experiences any hardware issues, it will offer a free replacement within the first 180 days of purchase. The company says this eliminates the need for users to go through a repair process in the event of a hardware issue. Please note that 180 days means the free exchange offer is valid for more than 5 months.
Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India said: “We are proud to introduce this protection plan and further improve the user experience.” reflects our confidence in continually improving the quality of our service to local consumers.”
The company promises that the exchange process will be easy. Customers simply need to visit a OnePlus Authorized Service Center to check their eligibility to receive a replacement device. From January 10th to February 13th, this service will be provided free of charge to those who purchase the OnePlus 13 series.
After this free exchange offer period ends, you can continue to access this premium service through an optional paid protection plan. So, what is the price of this protection plan? It is different for both models. Priced at Rs 2,599 for OnePlus 13 and Rs 2,299 for OnePlus 13R, this premium protection service plan extends the service for an additional three months.
OnePlus 13 was launched in India at Rs 69,999, while the new OnePlus 13R debuted at Rs 42,999. The flagship model will go on sale on January 10th, while the 13R version will go on sale on January 13th. OnePlus 13 will be sold with a bank discount offer of Rs 5,000 and the 13R will be sold with a bank discount offer of Rs 3,000. This will further reduce the price of these phones.
