Olympic gold medalist Monica Puig and her husband Nathan Rekit have announced their pregnancy with sincere posts. The couple welcomes a woman’s baby in the summer of 2025.
The Puerto Rico people shared her Instagram good news in a photo showing her ultrasonic image. The new parents are looking at everyone prepared to undertake this new “adventure”.
“I’m excited to jump into the most exciting adventure so far! A woman’s baby Rakit in the summer of 2025,” said Monica Puig’s caption.
Puig is reported to have met his fellow tennis players and his husband Nathan Rekit. The couple celebrated the 2nd anniversary of last year in November 2022 with a close ceremony on the north coast of Puerto Rico on the north coast.
Early retirement due to the victory and injury of Monica Puig’s gold medal

At the age of 31, he won his first gold medal at the Olympics and broke the Angelic Carber in the 2016 Rio Olympics women’s single final. She was also the first woman who won a gold medal as an unprecedented player since the tennis was re -introduced in 1988.
In an interview with the WTA in August 2024, she stated that her victory seemed to be unknown yet.

Her renowned career on the Grand Slam stage was able to obtain a qualification for the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2013, but could not get the main titles.
She had to retire from sports at the age of 28 because she was injured in June 2022.
