New Amazon Prime Video and Freevee shows and movies for December 2024

Rest in Peace, Freevie. Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service was phased out in November after Amazon finally realized it didn’t need the service in the first place. Instead, all of Freevee’s content is now part of Prime Video, where it’s still free and always should be. That said, December is the first month Amazon has announced a new streaming service since Freevee went into the bin, and there’s no new ad-free option among them.

But if you have an Amazon Prime account and want to use it for more than just free delivery on last-minute Christmas gifts, you’ll find some noteworthy things on Prime Video. Among them are Maple’s Margo Martindale in the syrup heist drama “The Sticky” and “Secret Level,” an animated short series based on the world of video games.

Sticky (12/6)

Remember the massive maple syrup heist in Canada in 2011-2012 that stole over 3,000 tons of pancake dressing? Now, in the limited series “The Sticky,” Prime Video remembers it. , adding dramatic details to make it entertaining.
