Affiliate links are displayed more prominently, occupying the bottom section of reels and videos. In text posts, the company has redesigned the way affiliate links are displayed to make them more prominent. Additionally, the company has increased the visibility of affiliate links within the comments section, further increasing exposure opportunities.

Previously, affiliate links were only displayed as URLs in captions, limiting their potential. New updates allow for more effective presentations, potentially increasing engagement and sales.
The company will also launch an automatic detection system for affiliate links from selected domains. If detected, the author will be prompted to use the “Paid Partnership” label and the link information will be pre-filled when adding an affiliate product link. This simplifies the process for creators and makes it easier for them to participate in affiliate programs.

Updates will be rolled out globally to all Pages and Professional Profiles. Creators who take advantage of these new features before Christmas may see an increase in affiliate sales. To add an affiliate link, creators go to the “Make Money” section during the publishing flow and select “Add Product Link” for a Reel, video, photo, or text post.
This enhancement provides both creators and businesses with the opportunity to maximize their affiliate marketing potential on the platform.
