Meghan Markle allegedly earned her secret nickname of “Archetypes” from a disgruntled former employee of her Spotify podcast.

In an exclusive report for Fox News Digital, Sean is a former staff member of a podcast called “Eva,” Duchess of Sussex, a reference to the manipulative character Eva Phillips portrayed by Joan Crawford in the 1955 film “Queen Bee.” member argued.

“A former staff member told me they decided to christen her ‘Eva.’ “This was used as a warning signal to let people know she was arriving or was arriving at war,” Sean said.

He told Fox News that the name was not a term of endearment, but rather a reflection of Markle’s demanding and difficult behavior on set. “This wasn’t a charming pet nickname,” Sean said.

The nickname followed a series of reports highlighting tensions behind the scenes of Markle’s podcast. According to Sean, Markle’s behavior was considered “tough” and “bossy” and she often expected to only speak to top-level individuals. “This worked at first because people were… bothered by Meghan’s presence. But it quickly dissipated when she started making demands,” the source said. told Sean.

Markle’s time with Spotify came under scrutiny after leaving the platform in 2023 following a brief partnership with Archewell Audio. Despite Archetype’s success, topping the charts in seven countries and winning the People’s Choice Award, the podcast’s exit from Spotify was surrounded by uncertainty. Some insiders claim that Markle’s actions may have contributed to the show’s ultimate end.

“She’s always playing checkers,” a source told Vanity Fair, explaining how Markle was aware of everyone around her, and when things weren’t going well, ” Throw (people) to the wolves.”

Adding to the tension, a report from Vanity Fair detailed how Markle’s treatment of staff oscillated between warm and cold. She initially cultivated a “professional friendship”, but the mood soured when things did not go as planned.

Despite the criticism, some individuals who have worked with Markle have defended her, with producer Jane Murray describing the duchess as a “lovely, genuine person”. But the broader story paints a picture of a high-maintenance environment.

Markle has yet to publicly address the allegations.
