Chanel recently announced the appointment of French-Belgian designer Mathieu Blazy as its new artistic director. His predecessor, Virginie Viard, left the company earlier this year. Blasey will oversee all fashion, haute couture and accessories for Chanel, and will oversee 10 collections a year. He will officially join the team in April 2025 and is scheduled to make his runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in October.
