The live-action film Masters of the Universe continues to be powered up as three cast members joined the Amazon MGM Studios project.
Based on the popular Mattel toy line, the film began production, adding Sajizamata as Suzie, Ramman as John Shu Chan and Christian Vunipola as Hussein. Nicholas Garlitsin was previously announced to star as He-Man, the character of director Travis Knight, who is scheduled to become an exclusive theatre hit on June 5, 2026.
Other cast members previously announced include Camila Mendes (who will portray Tierra), Jared Leto (Skeltor), Idris Elba (Duncan/Man at Arms), Morena Bakarin (Magician), James Purefoy (Kingrandall), Allison Brie (including evil (evil). – Lynn), Charlotte Riley (Queen Malena), Johannes Haukle Johanneson (Malcolm/Fist), Sam C. Wilson (Trap Joe), Hafsor Bjornsson (The Goat Man), Koho Atta (Tricrops).

Details of the plot are currently under the rap of the Master of the Universe, directed by Chris Butler from the script. The first draft of the script was written by David Carraham, Aaron Nee and Adam Nee for films from Escape Artist and Mattel Films.
Mattel launched the Masters of the Universe franchise with a series of action figures that debuted in 1982. A year later, the animated series He-Man and Masters of the Universe premiered in syndication, followed by video games and other products.
Ramman is a warrior known for using his head as an abused ram. Previously expressing characters include John Irwin, the original animated series from the 1980s, and Danny Trejo, the animated sequel series to Netflix, which launched in 2021.
Zamata is a former Saturday Night Live cast member to recent credits in which Marvel’s Agatha Allow and Netflix Animated series explode kittens. She is represented by Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Gersh.
Zhang has reappeared alongside Netflix’s The Brothers Sun and is also working as a stunt performer. He is represented by Identity Agency Group and Stride Management.
