Louis Vuitton unveils a lobster-shaped bag worth Rs 140,000 at Paris Fashion Week

Louis Vuitton has once again gained the spotlight with his bold and innovative creations. During Paris Fashion Week, the luxury fashion house unveiled a lobster-shaped bag that was supposed to be a conversation starter. This unique accessory is part of Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, and is a collaboration between the brand’s menswear creative director, Pharrell Williams, and famous Japanese streetwear designer Nigo.
Priced at an incredible $18,000 (approximately 14,90,000), the lobster-shaped bag is made with Vachetta Leather, known for its high-quality finish. It features Louis Vuitton’s distinctive monogram canvas, reimagining it in its impressive crustacean-inspired shape. The bag is designed to resemble a lobster with detailed holes, legs and antennas, making the traditional luxury accessories cleverly playful. The bold design is expected to attract attention from fashion lovers, collectors and those who like unconventional things.

Pharrell Williams, who took over as Louis Vuitton’s creative director of menswear in 2023, continues to drive the boundaries of luxury fashion with his distinctive vision. His designs embrace unexpected things and aim to break away from traditional fashion norms. His collaboration with Nigo, known for revolutionizing streetwear with brands such as Swimwear (BAPE) and Kenzo, has brought a collection that combines high-end luxury with street culture. This lobster-shaped bag is the perfect example of a creative influence that combines sophisticated craftsmanship with bold and playful designs.

Fashion enthusiasts and collectors can be drawn to the bag because of their eccentricity, as well as their exclusiveness. With its $18,000 (approximately £14,90,000) price tag, it certainly is a gorgeous item for anyone willing to make a statement. Louis Vuitton’s lobster bag is more than just a handbag. It is a work of art that blends with unexpected fashion, marking yet another milestone in the evolution of luxury accessories.
