Valentine’s Day feels gloomy in Los Angeles after a catastrophic wildfire. This is sadly the case with actress Jennifer Love Hewitt. He was one of many who evacuated from his home with her husband, Brian Harrisay and three children earlier this year.
For those who are older in the 90s, Hewitt’s pop culture excellence knows what the teenage classics did last summer. However, her acting career has continued to flourish for years since. Therefore, she and her family (along with actor Brian Harisai) lived locally due to the geological disaster unfolding this January.
“To be honest, I feel it’s hard for now to celebrate,” Hewitt admits to Forbes.com that Valentine’s Day, a love-themed holiday that’s going to be coming up. “But my little love deserves all the magic and joy. So I used to make them a ‘basket of love’ with toys and treats. I have some ideas on the sleeves for Valentine’s Day,” explains Hewitt.

Hewitt “riels” in the name of motherhood, and ensures that this Valentine’s Day is not obscured for her three children, Total ut, Atticus and Aidan. One such treat they will take part in will definitely be a favorite chocolate of Ferrero Rocher fans.
“We usually eat a special Valentine’s Day breakfast together, then have a (heart-shaped) pizza for dinner,” she says, and she and her husband have a special lunch to celebrate as a couple. He added that he is trying to get it. Although she points out that she prefers to give others rather than accepting gifts, her favorite treats definitely fall into the “thoughtful” category.
“Love Notes or special time (together) is perfect. I’ve always wanted to wake up in a balloon-filled room and have a cup of coffee in my bed,” she muse. “I went home from a long day when my husband and I were still dating. He had candles, wine and a piece of art that was waiting for me here and there. It was still me. It’s one of my favorite gifts.

Noting that she is a “chocolate lover,” she also admits that she enjoys sweet treats on Valentine’s Day. She considers popular sweets to be a great, versatile gift for children, teachers, colleagues and friends. Looking back at her past holiday memories, she lovingly remembers delivering Valentine’s Day at school and watching with excitement when she gets home.
“It’s so much fun to see my kids swap Valentines now and see how special they feel,” says Hewitt.
Part of Hewitt’s affinity for holidays is rooted in her love for family and motherhood. She describes “who I am since becoming a mother” as “really stepping into” her ability to navigate the stress of fame and endure career-driven pressure (Hewitt) He spoke about the pressure to become sexual in the past (in Hollywood) to the example of her late mother.
“At one moment I was on the cover of a bra magazine, and the next moment I was completely dorked at home with a baggy sweat. Both could be there.” She recalls. “But my mother always taught me to be myself. She really helped me to regulate the noise – to be in my own body, external pressure was required. I’ll wash it off, but it didn’t define me,” she says.

Hewitt cites motherly love as a major source of strength throughout his life. When she was young, it was her mother who gave her the power to stay faithful about who you are and what makes you comfortable. Eventually, she was able to make a mother’s example. When internalized as an example of this, respect for it is shown in its determined dedication to parenting one’s own children.
“As I get older, something happens. I feel more comfortable with my skin than ever before. I have the responsibility to be an example for my son’s daughter and role models,” adds Hewitt. Noting that this includes being “being kind to yourself,” she lists some of her favorite entertainment such as bubble baths, skincare products and occasional microneedle sessions.
It is often said that it cannot be poured from an empty cup. This is especially true when we face devastating losses that the Los Angeles community faces. However, Hewitt’s strength is clearly derived from the shared bonds with her family’s units. This, and the sacredness of motherhood, is exactly what she celebrates this Valentine’s Day.
