On January 21st, BTS’ J-Hope made a big return to the music scene following his military draft with the debut of his latest track LV Bag. The song, a collaboration with rapper Don Toliver, was unveiled at the Louis Vuitton fall/winter runway show in Paris. The show was also the first major event led by Pharrell Williams, the iconic fashion brand’s male creative director, and featured an eclectic mix of music. Among the tracks played were 17 Years Old Selection, Weekend and Playboy Culture, all produced by Pharrell himself, further strengthening the connection between music and fashion at the event. Leading up to this debut, J-Hope teased new music in a video titled The Beginning of a New Dream, released on YouTube in December 2024. A video hinting at next year’s exciting projects is Cryptic Message 2025.03. hints that fans can expect even more new material in March, marking his first full solo release with Armed Forces. Under Pharrell’s direction, the LV bag represents a fusion of J-Hope’s signature style and Don Toliver’s unique sound.
