Prabhas ‘The Raja Saab is one of 2025’s most anticipated films. However, the report suggests that the film may not be released on schedule. According to Times Now, manufacturers are considering pushing the release to Dussehra rather than on April 10th. The delay was due to Prabhas’ recent injuries. The actor maintained ankle sprain during filming of the Fauji, affecting the schedule of other projects, including Raja Saab. As a result, the team had to temporarily suspend filming. They work hard to complete the film on time, but the filming schedule and extensive VFX work have caused delays.
The manufacturer is considering releasing Dussehra as summer releases could become impossible. The festival season is a great time for Tollywood movies and has become a powerful alternative. However, Prabhas is set to resume work in the summer with Kalki 2898 AD Part 2. Raja Saab’s final release date will depend on his recovery and the progress of the film’s post-production.
Previously, sources close to the project suggested delays. The manufacturers had not announced a new release date, and the promotion was expected to approach the launch. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the postponement yet.
Raja Saab has been making headlines since its launch. The report suggests that Pravas is seen in a dual role. The film stars Malavica Mohanan and Nidhi Agelwal as female leads. The horror comedy is directed by Maruthi and is expected to offer a combination of action, comedy and thrills.
Currently, Prabhas is busy with multiple projects. He films the drama Fauji, a director of director Hanu Raghavapudi. The film introduces him as a British Indian soldier. He will also work with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit, an action-packed cop drama.
Apart from these, Prabhas has several major films lined up. Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 and Salal: Part 2 is one of his biggest projects. Additionally, he is expected to collaborate with the Salal team in two more films along with the recent announcements made by the makers.
