Vanguard, a global investment management company, will set up a technology development office in Hyderabad. The company recently announced that the Hyderabad office will open in late 2025 and serve as a permanent hub for technology development.
Nitin Tandon, global chief information officer, said, “Vanguard is a digital-first company, where technology is a key element in delivering investment products and advice to more than 50 million customers.” Ta.
The investment in the new office builds on a decade-long commitment with our Indian technology partners. He said in a release that the move will give the company direct access to talent and increase the proportion of technical staff in its global workforce.
The new office will be led by Venkatesh Natarajan, Vanguard’s director of information technology. He currently leads technology development for the retail investors division and joined Vanguard in 2019 to oversee enterprise digital marketing and analytics technology. Mr. Natarajan has previously held leadership roles at Qurate Retail Group, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and Walmart.
