LAHORE: Pakistan’s imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said economic development can never happen as long as the current “fascist regime” continues and warned of plans to impose “10 years of dictatorship” on Pakistan. . “Judge Humayun Dilawar, who gave an illegal verdict against me, has been promoted, but the judges in Rawalpindi and Sargodha who gave a fair verdict have been removed,” he said, adding, “Such acts have no place in this country. It erased the merits of the country and the rule of law,” he added. . ”

Mr. Khan interacts frequently with journalists and was seen posting on his social media handles many times, further adding that as long as the current “fascist regime” exists, the economic development of the country will not continue. Said it could never happen.

“Economic prosperity requires investment, but it is only possible if institutions adhere to constitutional boundaries and responsibilities. The proliferation of domestic terrorism is causing irreparable damage to investor confidence. Masu.”

He also called on the government to set up a judicial committee to investigate the May 9, 2023 and November 26, 2024 incidents before the next government meeting, but said the PTI would halt the negotiation process. .
