In episode #2268 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan guests were cruelly honest about the decline of Los Angeles, and at the same time defended the city’s restoration.
Los Angeles has faced many challenges in recent years, and the city has suffered from some surprising concerns. Issues include housing affordability challenges, homelessness epidemics, traffic jams, crime, and public safety.
In the aforementioned episode of JRE, Rick Caruso (businessman, civic leader, philanthropist) spoke about the issues facing LA. He revealed that businesses are being shut down due to excessive restrictions, high tax rates and more.
When asked about the cause of overregulation, Caruso expressed his opinion that overregulation has hampered capitalism and that LA is overregulated and needs to be pulled back.

Caruso believes that by bringing Elon Musk back to Los Angeles and white companies back to California, the situation can be resolved. He also believes that if Tesla CEO returns, businesses and people will return.
So, by addressing these issues, Los Angeles can once again become fair and sustainable. Caruso said:
“I want to be more business-friendly. I want to invite businesses to California. I want to go back to LA and invite businesses. I want to bring Elon back to LA. I don’t want him to leave LA. I don’t want to leave him, he said he’ll come back.
Caruso continues:
“I want to give people an incentive to stay. Start your business, grow your business, raise your family, protect you, clean the city. All those basics are really all that. It’s important. And again, Joe, maybe I’m overly optimistic… I think California could really change the direction of this whole country if it was unleashed.”

Joe Rogan gets emotional while remembering the Woolsey Fire of 2018
In the aforementioned episode, Joe Rogan also discussed the recent La Wild fire with Rick Caruso. Reports say the wildfires damaged numerous homes and property, and killed 29 individuals.
While discussing natural disasters, Logan recalled the 2018 Malibu fires, including the Woolsey Fire.
Speaking about the issue of fire insurance in LA, UFC commentators got emotional and revealed in 2018 that two neighbors lost their homes due to a wildfire.
“Two of my neighbors have lost their homes. It’s just scary to see these people crying in front of the tile rub where they lived.”
