How the Chinese government is charging the rise of humanoid robots

This is the last story 3 -part series Investigate the future of Chinese humanoid robots. Competition between the United States and China. And Beijing’s efforts to gain advantages in this emerging field. Last month, when 102 humanoid robots from 10 different companies gathered at a vast 4,000-square-metre facility on the outskirts of Shanghai, they were essential, such as walking, bed manufacturing, dishwashing, bolt screwing and even welding. When trained on the task, it showed how China is doing. With a fast track to a future where humans and humanoid robots coexist seamlessly.

“Humanoid robots are expected to be the next groundbreaking innovation, following computers, smartphones and new energy vehicles, dramatically changing human production and lifestyles while reconstructing the global industrial landscape.” and Information Technology (MIIT) according to the long-term guidelines developed by the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Industry.

The government’s aggressive push for humanoid robots shows a strategic move that dominates new technologies and outperforms the US in the hegemony of innovation to dominate global technology.

Also, with the country’s population declining, robotics advancements could also be useful for future economies against demographics and labor challenges.

The pioneering venues in Shanghai – the outcome of collaboration between local governments, scientific enterprises, and businesses that can ultimately employ these humanoid robots – such as collecting data and promoting commercialization The company aims to accelerate robot training and development.
