Former Disney star joins Kirk Cameron to transform children’s entertainment

Kirk Cameron’s new children’s show ‘THE ADVENTURES OF IGGY AND MR.’ Kirk has tapped former Disney Channel star Lee Allyn Baker to join him in his mission to transform children’s entertainment.
Baker told CCM Magazine how she became involved in the project.
“That’s why ‘Brave Books’ is so brave,” said the actress who played Amy Duncan on “Good Luck Charlie.” “When kids see a hole in children’s entertainment, they’re the first to jump in, whether it’s done or not. They jump in to fill that hole and think there needs to be a show for kids. They called me and said, “What should I do?” I wrote a book for them and they knew this was not an area I was unfamiliar with, so I jumped at the chance to help with its production. ”

Baker then explained that his role is not just behind the scenes. She also makes a small appearance on the show.
“There are some episodes where I play ‘Creative’ and she does an arts and crafts corner with the kids. She’s Kirk’s cousin,” she explained.
The series premiered just a few days ago, and Baker couldn’t be more excited.
“Producing this project for @kirkcameronofficial and @bravebooks.us was truly an adventure,” she wrote on Instagram. “To everyone who thought it was okay to ‘cancel’ me…thank you! I was never canceled. I was redirected!”
Apart from Iggy and MR’s adventures, Kirk Baker is on a college tour and talks to students about some important issues.
“Aside from that, I’m on a college tour right now, speaking to college students about cancel culture and what it means to stand up and be bold and tell the truth, even if the consequences are ridiculous. Cancel Because there is no culture,” Baker said.
In October, Baker spoke to “more than 400 West Virginia University students.”
Baker recently spoke at the University of Florida, where she shared “her journey so far, her insights on Hollywood, and why she chooses to stand by her values.” This is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand about the realities of the entertainment industry and her personal journey outside of it. ”
