How to access “Daily Listening”
US-based Android and iPhone users can enable Daily Listen in Search Labs starting today. It may take up to a day for your first personalized episode to be generated.
To access Daily Listen, just look for the “Spaces” carousel under the search bar in the Google app on Android or iOS.
Tap the Daily Listen card to see a full-screen player with text transcript and playback controls.
Google said the experiment leverages Google’s Gemini AI model and allows users to provide feedback on the content generated. Users can also explore related stories and search for more information within the Daily Listen interface.
“Daily Listening” is similar to NoteBooLM’s “Audio Overview”.
At I/O 2024 in May, Google previewed NotebookLM’s “Audio Overview” feature, which turns documents, slides, and graphs into “engaging audio discussions.” The company introduced this feature last September.
