Zara’s OnlyFans journey started as a side project during her PhD, but it quickly grew into a lucrative business. In just a short period of time, she has amassed more than $1 million in revenue. These funds allowed her to pay off her family’s mortgage, buy a car, and invest in her future.

She expressed gratitude for the freedom her new career afforded her: the ability to learn and explore the subject without the constraints of funding agencies or traditional employment.

She ended the video by repeating that most professors in America make $100,000 a year and spend their time writing grant proposals instead of doing research. This is not the life she envisioned for herself.
