Emma Mackey joined Hot Milk co-star Vicki Creeps on the red carpet on Friday for the Berlin Film Festival premiere.
While Vicki was channeling menswear chic, Emma took the opposite route and opted for a white Louis Vuitton technical gabardin dress.
I said this was a rare minimalist moment from Louis Vuitton, but the look of Saoirse Ronan’s IFTA Awards, Zendaya’s Gotham Awards Look and Hannah Einbinder’s Golden Globes look are still fresh. . And honestly? I’m here for that. Even the proud maximalists, I usually love this new sense of balance from the house I live in for decoration and experimental silhouettes.
What I especially appreciate about Emma’s gown is how the gold chain details on the shoulders stop them from flattening out their appearance. It is a subtle and effective accent that enhances the simplicity of the design and gives an edge touch without breaking minimalist spells.
Overall, this is a beautiful example of how few things really are less, especially when Louis Vuitton pilots the ship.
