Pixar’s Elio release date has been pushed back.
Elio is the upcoming sci-fi adventure film from Pixar Animation Studios. The film, directed by Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi and Adrian Molina, includes the film’s voice cast, including Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Brad Garrett as Grigon Lord, and Jameela Jamil as Ambassadors .
What is the new release date for Elio?
Elio was originally supposed to open in the US theatre on June 13th, 2025. It is currently being pushed back to a week. This means there will be a release date on June 20th, 2025. Before that, Elio was originally released on March 1, 2024. It was pushed back to 2025 in October 2023.
Rather than opening on the same day as the way to train a Dragon remake on the same day as the live action DreamWorks live action, this means that Elio will share a release date with Danny Boyle and Sony Pictures 28 years later.
Additionally, the new release dates include live-action Lilo & Stitch Remake, which will arrive on May 23, 2025, and Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Release on Lilease on Lilease July 25, 2025.
