Disney has shifted this summer’s Pixar movie, Elio, for a week from June 13th to June 20th.
Normally, Pixar movies in June come out on Father’s Day weekend, but Disney goes along with this one in a week.
Elio moves head-away in a live-action Universal/Dreamworks take on how to train a dragon on June 13th. June 20th.
Elio’s TE Dating Shift also created space on Disney’s summer slate, giving room to play Lilo & Stitch (May 23), and Pixar’s title is still expected to be the blockbuster Fantastic Four: First Step It is located before (July 25th). Elio will be the only animated release with a wide gap between the Looney Tunes (March 14) and the Smurfs (July 18).
Other Disney release date news, 20th century studio director James L. Brooks’s Dramedy, starring Ella McKay Woody Harrelson and Rebecca Hall, dated September 9, 2025. Another 20th title, Samurai Mi horror film, will open Help Help starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien on January 30, 2026. Disney is holding its first big hit of 2025 this weekend at Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World.
