Washington DC:
Donald Trump today became the first felon in the White House after a U.S. court upheld his conviction in a hush money case. He was sentenced to “unconditional dismissal” for concealing unspent money from porn star Stormy Daniels.
This means that although the president-elect was found guilty of the charges, he will not face any jail time or punishment as he was elected President of the United States and is scheduled to be sworn in to the nation’s highest office on January 20th. It means that. It is only natural that he will not be punished for acts that are above the law during his term of office and even afterward.
So even though Donald Trump was convicted in May 2024 on 34 counts of falsifying business records that carried potential prison terms, judges could do little about it. In the end, they had no choice but to exonerate the president-elect. If he hadn’t become president, Donald Trump would have served four years in prison. Instead, he will return to the White House as president for four more years.

Donald Trump did not even attend court in person, choosing to do so virtually, knowing full well that he would not be sent to prison.
“This court finds that unconditional release is the only lawful sentence that can be used to convict without violating the authority of the highest office in this land,” New York State Judge Juan Marchand said in his ruling. I made the decision.”
The judge continued: “Never before has a more unique and remarkable set of circumstances been presented to this court.” Because the highest office in the United States is protected by the Constitution, the judge had no choice but to “unconditionally remove” the former president. Any other ruling risks infringing on presidential privileges afforded to the nation’s highest office.
Even before the sentence was handed down, Donald Trump made a last-ditch effort to avoid it, using all his power and resources to avoid the dubious distinction of being the first felon in White House history.
Hours before the ruling, Donald Trump said he believed the entire proceeding was actually a “setback for the New York court system.” “It was done to damage my reputation because I might lose the election,” he said, adding that it was a “terrible experience” for him.
However, during the process, Donald Trump made illegal payments to porn star Stormy Daniels in order to prevent him from exposing his secret meetings with porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. I had to sit and watch one witness after another testify about how the incident was fraudulently concealed. An election that he ultimately won.
Donald Trump has done everything he can to block criminal proceedings against him, but he faced a major setback when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that his sentencing could proceed.
Today’s ruling comes just 10 days before Donald Trump returns to the White House for a second term as President of the United States.
