Donald Trump thanks Time magazine
As for the title of Person of the Year, he was last elected president in 2016. He even joked about it at the event, saying: I think it looks better this time. ”
He continued, “Despite a lot of the confusion that was needlessly caused, we had a great first semester. But the media has been a little subdued. They’re now our I think I’m starting to like you even more.
“I’d like to thank Time magazine. I’ve been on the cover so many times. I don’t know who holds the record, but I can probably only speak well of 25% of the covers. 25% is great, but… , the rest is hidden.”
At another point during his speech, he also mentioned issues that will need to be “sorted out” when he takes office on January 20th. We have to solve some big problems in the world. None of these issues existed when we left. There was no October 7th between Russia and Ukraine and Israel, there was no Afghanistan disaster, and there was no inflation. There was no inflation. And our economy was doing very well. And we will do the same again. ”

Cheers to Trump at the New York Stock Exchange
The Republican leader is not the first family member to ring the iconic stock exchange bell. In 2019, Melania Trump rang the bell during her first term as first lady. The president-elect of the United States acknowledged as much, adding, “She rang a bell.”
First Lady Melania Trump attended with Trump’s daughters Ivanka and Tiffany to boost her husband’s morale. Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and Cabinet nominees Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Scott Bessent, Ben Carson, Kelly Loeffler, Pam Bondi, Elise Stefanik, and Lee Zeldin. He also attended Thursday’s New York Stock Exchange meeting. Another video from the day that circulated online showed chants of “USA” erupting in the trading room at the president-elect.
Considering how this tradition signifies a mid-term meeting of fame and finances, it’s no surprise that former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, R&B/pop star Usher, Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt and Zoe… Saldana is among the celebrities privileged to hit the corporate gong.
