Disney, which earlier this week became the first studio in 2024 to reach $2 billion in domestic box office revenue, claimed it had achieved another milestone. Based on today’s estimates, Walt Disney Studios’ worldwide revenue exceeded $5 billion. The estimated worldwide total is $5.06 billion. Of this amount, $2.054 billion came from North America and $3.06 billion from international box office sales.

According to Diss, it will be the only studio to exceed this standard in 2024. It is also the first studio to surpass $5 billion worldwide since 2019. For those keeping track, this is the sixth time Disney has grossed more than $5 at the box office. Since 2010, it has reached 1 billion people worldwide.

This year’s Top for the Mouse goes to Pixar’s sequel “Inside Head 2,” which currently has a global box office gross of $1.699 billion, making it the year’s No. 1 film worldwide and the highest-grossing movie in history both domestically and internationally. It is the biggest animated movie ever. Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine followed with $1.388 billion worldwide, making it the No. 1 R-rated movie of all time worldwide. The recently released sequel “Moana 2” has grossed an estimated $719 million through Sunday.

Other notable films released by Disney this year include “Kingdom for the Planet of the Apes” ($398 million worldwide) and the surprise hit “Alien: Romulus” ($351 million worldwide). dollar).

This weekend’s release of Disney’s Mufasa may be seen as a year-end blunder, with a weaker-than-expected release, but the holiday season lies ahead. And the fact remains that Diss provided some of the most important moments of the year… continued momentum is here for all studios.
