Disney donates $15 million to LA fire relief and reconstruction efforts: “Walt Disney chose this as his home” | Disney Hollywood

As the wildfires continue to ravage Los Angeles, The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will support organizations providing services on the ground. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company has pledged to donate $15 million “for initial response and immediate response and rebuilding efforts.” (Also read: Khloe Kardashian calls Los Angeles mayor a ‘joke’ after LA wildfires force evacuation)

These funds will go to organizations such as the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and the Los Angeles Area Food Bank.

“As this tragedy continues to unfold, the Walt Disney Company remains committed to working with our communities to recover and rebuild from this incredible devastation,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger. “We are fully committed to supporting our employees.”

Paramount Global co-heads Brian Robbins, Chris McCarthy, and George Cheeks also wrote in a memo to staff that the company is working with the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Cal Fire Foundation, Red Cross, Direct Relief, and World Central.・Kitchen, Best Friends Animal Association.
